The development team at Square Enix in charge of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is announcing that there are three versions of the coming expansion that can be pre-ordered by fans of the MMO experience, a bundle that mixes the new content with the original release, a standard edition, and a Collector's Edition packed with some new extra content.

Dedicated fans can get access to:

- a flying Griffin mount, Dark Knight Cecil-themed Baron helm, and a minion;

- an art book;

- a Blu-ray disk with the A Realm Reborn movie;

- a dragon mount figure;

- a Dragonsong war exclusive box created by Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano.

All players who place a pre-order for Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward will also get access to a number of in-game items starting on June 19.

The other gamers will be able to access the expansion four days later, which means that those who pay early will be able to spend four days in the world of the MMO, getting to know the new challenges and level up their characters.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is designed to tell the story of the Dragonsong War, which pits the knights of Ishgard against the dragons of Dravania.

Gamers will get a new 60 level cap, a new race to play with and more dungeons and raids to tackle.
