Video game developer Giants Software and publisher Focus Home Interactive are announcing that they are planning to launch Farming Simulator 15 on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and last-gen consoles on May 19.

The title is designed to allow players a range of activities, from woodcutting to land development, and it also gives gamers a way to sell their products in order to improve the equipment they are using.

Farming Simulator 15 does not aim for full realism, but hard work and solid planning are required for those who want to put together a thriving business.

There are 140 authentic vehicles and farming tools to use, with new vehicles added specifically for the home console versions, coming from the most important manufacturers in the world.

Farming Simulator 15 is also introducing multiplayer on the new platforms, allowing gamers to invite friends into their games in order to improve productivity and tackle bigger tasks.

At the moment, under a million people are playing the title on the PC, but unfortunately there are no plans to introduce cross-platform play.

Focus Home Interactive has not said whether Giants is working on a new entry in the series for this year.
