The developers at EA Sports in charge of FIFA 15 are acknowledging that gamers on a variety of platforms are at the moment having connectivity problems when they try to play the Ultimate Team mode and say that they are working on solving them as quickly as possible.

The information comes from the official Twitter account, but there are no details on when the process to restore the mode might be completed or how much of the player community is affected.

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is a major source of revenue for Electronic Arts, as shown by the most recent financial report from the publisher, and that means the company needs to move as fast as possible to deal with any problems that can affect it in the long term.

As always, the community is using the connectivity issues to request EA Sports to offer free packs as compensation and there are already some fake accounts aiming to trick gamers into providing their personal details.

The Ultimate Team downtime needs to be solved today because the development team will deliver the Team of the Week line-up later in the day, offering gamers a chance to get access to the players who have performed best over the past seven-day period.
