The developers working on FIFA 15 at EA Sports are announcing that they are planning to take down the Ultimate Team game mode for the football simulation starting at 9 AM Greenwich Mean Time, which is the equivalent of 1 AM Pacific Time.

The mode will be unavailable for access for a 3-hour period and the company claims that it will offer details about any changes via its social media channels.

The web app and the mobile companion app for Ultimate Team in FIFA 15 will also be down for the period, but regular multiplayer matches are still available for all those who want to play some football against their friends.

EA Sports is not saying exactly what changes it will implement during the three-hour window, but it is probably preparing the game for the coming Team of the Week package and increasing stability.

FIFA 15 continues to be a popular title, despite being more than four months old, and at the moment regular events and content drops from EA Sports are required to keep interest from the community up.

A new title in the series will be revealed around May and details on its new mechanics will be offered at the coming E3 2015 event.
