Microsoft Xbox division boss Phil Spencer confirms that this year's E3 2015 event is going to feature a bigger focus on Microsoft's own first-party games, and that a brand-new intellectual property will be revealed to fans at the large event in June.

Summer is rapidly approaching and gamers are anticipating not only extended periods of gaming time with titles they don't currently have the time for, but also the large E3 2015 event that's taking place in Los Angeles at the beginning of June.

Microsoft's big press event is currently in the planning stages, and while its own executives don't want to spoil anything, Xbox boss Phil Spencer does confirm on Twitter that an all-new exclusive game will be showcased for the Xbox One at E3 this year.

What's more, the general theme, according to Spencer, is going to focus on Microsoft's own first-party games.

The large corporation has plenty of studios in its portfolio and at least two big projects, Halo 5: Guardians and the next Gears of War are going to delight millions of franchise fans.

In regards to other potential announcements, however, Microsoft is keeping its cards close to its chest and doesn't want to spoil anything about E3 2015.
