Techland has hidden a ton of references in the game

Techland's first-person zombie survival video game Dying Light has a ton of various Easter Eggs, from ones poking fun at Destiny's loot cave to tributes to legendary games like Super Mario Bros.

Now we get to see another well-hidden Easter Egg, uncovered on an island by a brave Reddit explorer, sending players to a magic garden, where giant plants, neatly organized in rows, are under attack by zombies.

Techland is taking advantage of the fertile grounds for a Plants vs. Zombies tie-in, even going as far as placing signaling cones on the heads of the undead shamblers.

In case you want to see everything in action without actually having to travel to the edge of the map in-game, you can simply have a look at the video below.

It seems like Dying Light is the game that keeps on giving, and there seems to be no end to the amount of sneaky-cutesy content hidden within it.

Things are also about to get a lot better soon, as the devs are working on some free modding tools to aid the community in the creation of brand new content for Dying Light.

The company's previous game, Dead Island, still lives on through the great work of many dedicated community members, and Dying Light will no doubt share the same fate.
