Gamers can get it for free if they complete challenges

Video game developer Evolution Studios and publisher Sony are announcing that one of the most interesting cars of the modern era, the Ferrari-made LaFerrari, is set to be added to its racing simulation Driveclub next week.

Gamers will be able to gain access to the impressive car for free as long as they can reach level 5 in the Ferrari Owners Club driver accolade, which will not be an easy task even for long-term fans.

The associated screenshots and trailer show how much care the development team has put into recreating the LaFerrari in Driveclub, with as much detail as possible when it comes to both the look of the vehicle and its handling.

The racing game was launched in 2014 and faced a lot of problems when it first arrived on the PlayStation 4, with network issues and connectivity lag.

Since then, the developers have delivered a range of patches for the game, and they have also introduced extra content and features in order to keep gamers interested.

A free PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub seems to be abandoned at the moment.

Evolution and Sony have not said for how long they are planning to add more cars to the title.
