A brand new Dragon Ball Xenoverse trailer is out, outlining the events of the upcoming action adventure video game in a rather ominous manner.

The video delivers a rather chunky 4-and-a-half minutes of gameplay, showing some of the enemies that you'll have to face, including Cell, Vegeta, Frieza, and many others. The usual.

The game will, of course, feature a lot of fighting, and gamers will be able to create their very own character, customized however they want, and then pick one of the series' protagonists as master.

Depending on the chosen master, your character will gain access to various special attacks as well as costumes.

The player character was unveiled with a bit of a fuss, with publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps wanting to take everyone by surprise. He is an agent from the future trying to alter the events of the past in order to prevent a catastrophe from taking place.

Among the things that gamers have to look forward to are massive group brawls, one-on-one challenges, and an explosive cocktail of action, including witnessing the historical battles between Goku and the numerous bad guys he defeated.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is coming out sometime in 2015, headed to the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms.
