Video game developer is announcing a new multiplayer event for Dragon Age: Inquisition, which is now live and will last until February 2, and is focused on the acquisition of Gold Medals and can be accessed on all platforms on which the title is available.

Gamers will be able to get a Commendation Chest if they manage to get 20 Gold Medals during the period, and a Victory Chest will be offered as long as the entire community manages to reach 750,000 of them on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, and 80,000 on last-gen consoles.

The official announcement claims that the reason for the missions is linked to Nevarran army interactions.

BioWare adds, "Our neighbors to the north have expressed some admiration for the number of highly decorated veterans in our ranks. We might be able to broker an alliance with the Nevarrans with the appearance of a few more valiant war heroes, but obviously, all honors must be legitimately bestowed."

The studio is also sharing some statistics about last week's event with the community, showing how many Golden Nugs were taken out in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

So far no DLC, either for single or for multiplayer, has been revealed as being in development for the title.
