The first apparent add-on for Dragon Age: Inquisition is now available for download on the Xbox One platform via the Xbox Live service, in the form of the Destruction multiplayer DLC, which adds new paths to the existing online environments and new dangers.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launched last month across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms, with millions of RPG fans flocking to BioWare's experience in order to see just how it feels.

The game included not just a sprawling single-player story campaign but also a full-fledged cooperative multiplayer mode and now it seems that its very first expansion has arrived, in the form of the Destruction multiplayer DLC.

Right now, the add-on is available on the Xbox One platform via the Xbox Live service, but there's been no word from BioWare, EA, or Microsoft about the actual content.

The online description confirms that the Dragon Age: Inquisition Destruction multiplayer expansion contains new paths through the three maps in the game (Elven Ruins, Orlesian Chateau, and Tevinter Ruins), while bringing wild creatures to roam the battlefield, attacking both human players and the enemy faction.

You can expect some form of confirmation from BioWare later today, probably as part of the planned live stream it's announced on Twitter.
