Grand Theft Auto 5 has a brand new update that takes it to version 1.10 on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms and finally fixes the graphics issues that caused the visual downgrade after patch 1.08.

GTA 5 launched on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles in November of last year, after having appeared on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September of 2013. Since then, developer Rockstar has released a wide variety of updates, but one of the more recent ones, patch 1.08, removed certain graphics effects that caused a serious visual downgrade for the whole game on PS4 and Xbox One.

Rockstar soon confirmed that this was an unintended effect of the update, and now a fresh patch is available for download for Grand Theft Auto 5 on PS4 and Xbox One, taking the game to version 1.10 on the two consoles.

Besides fixing the graphical issues, the update also corrects a problem that caused a player's GTA Online character to change appearances periodically, not to mention an animation error that happened when a player aimed their weapon and didn't use the correct behavior.

The new patch is already available for download for GTA 5 on PS4 and Xbox One platforms via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live online services.
