Publisher Bandai Namco released a brand new gameplay video for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, showing the upcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive in action.

The role-playing game is set to debut in Japan in March 2015, and for the time being the publisher has said absolutely nothing regarding a western release of the title, but we can always keep our fingers crossed.

The game takes place in Japan sometime in the near future, and offers a neat gameplay perspective. Technology evolved to the point where the Internet has created a Cyberspace that functions as a second world for the entirety of mankind.

Of course, as Peter Parker's uncle once said, "With great power comes great responsibility," and apparently future hackers have none, since their nefarious exploits have created a new form of computer virus, known as Digital Monster, a creature able to evolve new characteristics on its own.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth follows a young man's adventures as he ventures into the lowest layers of cyberspace and uses a mysterious device that allows him to capture Digimon.

Furthermore, the real world and Cyberspace are starting to meld, with data spontaneously materializing in reality, and gamers will have to uncover the secret of the mysterious occurrences.
