Diablo 3 is a complex game and when it first launched a lot of community members were unhappy with the quality that it offered, but the development team at Blizzard has worked hard to improve it, and after many patches, it has managed to tweak it enough to make it a big hit with long-term fans.

Now, Josh Mosquera, who was the leader of the development team that ported the title to home consoles, is ready to offer more details on the way the company listened to the community and how it re-designed features in order to make it a hit.

The Game Developers Conference 2015 footage is long, but for those who love the Diablo 3 experience, there are plenty of interesting details about the main ideas that Blizzard has applied to its evolution.

Mosquera says that his team would have been unable to improve the title if they did not get a lot of feedback from players, even from those who were actively working to subvert its mechanics.

At the moment, Blizzard is testing a new major patch for Diablo 3, labeled 2.2, which is live on the PTR and is designed to introduce more armor sets and to tweak a range of core mechanics.

It will probably be launched when the currently running Season 2 is done.
