Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is going to use the special Dawn Engine from Square Enix as well as new visual technologies like DirectX 12, which is set to appear alongside Windows 10 later this year, and AMD's TressFX Hair 3.0 rendering system.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was revealed to the world earlier this year, after plenty of speculation and rumors. While developer Eidos Montreal only mentioned details about the story and gameplay, while debuting a short cinematic trailer, not much else has been heard about the visuals that should be included in the game.

Now, thanks to a new presentation from AMD, via Overclock3D, it's officially confirmed that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided uses the special Dawn Engine made by Square Enix for all of its upcoming projects.

The new technology will support DirectX 12, meaning PC and Xbox One owners who get the Windows 10 operating system will be able to enjoy better performance than on previous operating systems or firmware versions.

What's more, AMD confirms that it's working with Eidos Montreal to implement the TressFX Hair 3.0 technology, which promises not just better hair for the main characters, but also richer fur effects for animals and other such things.

No word yet on exactly when Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will launch, but Square Enix is expected to share more at E3 2015 next month.
