Gamers will need to offer Xbox Live or PSN identities

Video game developer Bungie is announcing that it will soon implement a number of new rules for both the official site of the company and for the companion app for Destiny, all of them designed to improve the overall user experience.

In order to improve the way feedback about the social shooter is delivered, blog comments will be now directed to the forums relevant for the topic, and all those who plan on offering suggestions will need to have a clear gameplay history.

When it comes to accounts for the official Bungie site, the sign-in process is changing too and that means gamers will no longer be able to use Facebook and Google+ to automatically authenticate themselves, because of incompatibilities between protocols.

From March 24 onwards, gamers will need to link their profiles with a PlayStation ID or with an Xbox Live Gamertag, and Plus and Gold can be optionally added.

Bungie adds, "Like the game it supports, Bungie.net net is in a constant state of development. There's even a forum devoted to your suggestions for how it can serve you better, so let us know what else you'd like to see in future updates."

The studio is at the moment also working on a new update for Destiny, which should be deployed in a few weeks.
