The fact that Bungie is finally launching update 1.1.1 for Destiny is certainly a good thing, but gamers should be prepared for the fact that the video game will kick them from all ongoing activities in order to get them to apply the update and make sure that their title is running the most recent version.

The information comes from the official Bungie Help Twitter account, and it seems that the patch will arrive at different times for groups of gamers.

A full rundown of all the changes that are being made in update 1.1.1 for Destiny is offered on Softpedia.

The notes do state that the company is making some changes to the title which will make it easier to deliver updates and downloadable content packs in the future.

From this point on, the heavy ammo issue that has affected Destiny fans for a long time is eliminated and a host of tweaks have been made to the way the various weapon types function.

Now that update 1.1.1 for the title is out, the attention of both the company and its extensive fan base will switch to the coming expansion, called House of Wolves, which is expected to arrive in the second financial quarter of the year.
