Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming 3DS tactics game Code Name: Steam, emanating more patriotism than thought possible in a game video.

The trailer features none other than Abraham Lincoln himself, as he takes the lead of the task force whose mission is to defend Earth from a deadly alien invasion.

The trailer has been released just in time for President's Day, showing the 16th president of the United States of America assembling a crack team of steampunk warriors.

Nintendo 3DS owners will surely have a blast with the title, as it features some pretty exciting action. The game is played as a turn-based tactics title and also has some third-person shooter elements.

The fact that Code Name: Steam comes from the makers of the highly acclaimed Fire Emblem speaks volumes about its quality, and with Pokemon's Hitoshi Yamagami also being involved with the project, it's certainly going to be a good one.

Developer Intelligent Systems's upcoming game features a bunch of iconic American personalities, and in addition to Abraham Lincoln, we'll also get to see John Henry and Tom Sawyer in action.

Code Name: Steam is coming out on the Nintendo eShop, exclusively for the 3DS handheld gaming device, on March 13 in North America, May 14 in Japan, and May 15 in Europe.
