The developers at Relic in charge of Company of Heroes 2 are delivering a new massive update for the title, which is designed to make some big changes to the game, both in terms of balance and general strategy.

The download is bigger than 1 GB and a full list of all the things that are changed can be seen by clicking on the button at the end of this blog.

The Artificial Intelligence of Company of Heroes 2 has received many updates for pathfinding, combat range and reinforcement decisions.

There are also changes to the cost of abilities and units, and text has been added to clear up some issues with abilities and commander powers.

Relic is also updating the Ardennes Assault campaign, including the strategic map, to make it more replayable.

Despite its age, Company of Heroes 2 remains a solid experience, especially when it comes to multiplayer.

The four sides that the game offers are well balanced in terms of power, although the United States still has a relative edge as long as the player controlling them is competent.

The community of players built around the title is also courteous most of the time, although it might be hard for a newcomer to find opponents who are also just starting out.
