14 DAY TRIAL // Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare fans can take advantage this weekend of not just a Double XP bonus but also an increased drop chance for Elite gear in supply drops.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launched back in November of last year, and developer Sledgehammer Games rolled out quite a lot of different updates, not to mention standard and big downloadable content packs.
In order to keep things interesting and to get people back into the multiplayer mode, Sledgehammer confirms on Twitter that this weekend fans can expect special bonuses, both for experience and elite loot.
More specifically, starting today, Friday, April 24 at 9am PST, until Monday, April 27, at 9am PST, Advanced Warfare has on all platforms a double XP bonus active, meaning you'll rank up twice as fast in the multiplayer mode.
What's more, besides this fairly standard bonus, Sledgehammer has also tweaked temporarily the drop chances of Elite loot via supply drops. As such, if you have unopened boxes or want to get some more, you can open them right now and get some impressive gear.
The new bonuses are live across all platforms, i.e. PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, so anyone can take part in the bonus weekend, provided you have things like Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus subscriptions.
