Despite the fact that the focus for the team in charge of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is to make the game run as well as possible on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, the studio is still ready to move fast in order to deal with issues that appear on older-gen consoles.

A new Twitter message from the company explains that it is aware of the freezing issues that have been affecting some players on the Xbox 360 and is working hard to try and eliminate them.

Sledgehammer Games is not saying what percent of the community is experiencing the problem and when a fix is expected to arrive.

There are two more downloadable content packs for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare set to be launched, and the development team is also aiming to deliver more free updates in order to improve the experience of the shooter.

Treyarch and Activision are at the moment working on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which is set to be launched on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on November 6 of this year.

It's unclear whether Xbox 360 or PS3 owners will get the chance to play the new title in the franchise.
