Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has just received its long-awaited Ascendance DLC expansion on the Xbox One platform, as it's now available for download worldwide, as is an update that weighs in at around 1322MB.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been around for quite some time across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms, and developer Sledgehammer Games has already launched several big add-ons for the title.

The second major expansion, Ascendance, is now available for download on the Xbox One version of Advanced Warfare, and is expected to debut on the Xbox 360 edition later today, March 31.

The DLC is available through the in-game store, for both Season Pass owners but also for those who didn't get the add-on bundle.

Besides the actual expansion, Xbox One owners of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare are also going to be prompted to download an update for the game weighing in at 1322MB, so make sure you have enough space to transfer and install the patch.

It's unclear what exactly is included in the update, besides support for the Ascendance DLC, so expect to see an official changelog later in the day from Sledgehammer Games and Activision.
