Bloodborne, the exclusive RPG for the PS4 launched by Sony & From Software last month, is still plagued by online issues that prevent owners from playing with or against others via the PlayStation Network. Fortunately, Sony has some new tips concerning what ports need to be forward to ensure a smoother experience.

Bloodborne was eagerly awaited by millions of PS4 owners worldwide last month, and while it certainly brought forth some great adventures, it also incorporated both cooperative and competitive mechanics that allowed for others to infiltrate the session of the current player.

Unfortunately for quite a few people, they are unable to go online in Bloodborne, despite following the necessary steps. Quite a few Softpedia users also mention that only the new RPG encounters issues on their console, as other online titles work flawlessly.

One users recommends PS4 owners to put their console into DMZ mode, which requires a special setting on their router.

Sony itself has posted a small port forwarding guide, via DualShockers, advising users to go into their router settings and forward the following ports for Bloodborne: TCP: 18671, 20443.

If they also encounter issues when connecting to the PlayStation Network, the following ports should also be forwarded: TCP: 80,443,3478,3479,3480,5223,8080 and UDP: 3478,3479,3658.
