Sony confirms that Bloodborne, its next major exclusive game for the PS4 platform has gone gold, meaning it's ready for launch later in the month on the home console.

Bloodborne has been a long time coming, as millions of gamers who fell in love with From Software's previous titles, such as Demon's Souls or Dark Souls 1 and 2, eagerly looked forward to the latest project from the Japanese team.

The studio partnered up with Sony's own Japan studio and confirmed last year that it will debut Bloodborne exclusively for the PS4, a spiritual successor to the Souls titles, but with many new elements and, of course, better visuals and mechanics.

The game debuts later this month and it seems that it's just gone gold, as Sony has already held a special event to celebrate the completion of the new RPG experience, as evidenced by a tweet from Sony's Product Manager for Bloodborne.

As you can see below, a variety of Bloodborne-themed swag was presented at the event but it's unlikely that the decorations will be made available for purchase by fans, so you'll just have to admire them from afar.

Bloodborne is set to debut on March 24, in North America, and March 25, in Europe and other parts of the world.
