The upcoming re-release occupies quite a lot of space

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, the upcoming re-release of Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel for PS4 and Xbox One, needs around 26.7GB of space on the Sony console, and right now, it's unclear just how much hard drive capacity it will require on Microsoft's device.

The Borderlands series has been around for quite some time, and after earning a small but loyal following with the first title in the franchise, Gearbox Software and 2K Games gained way more followers with Borderlands 2, before offering the series to 2K Australia, which made Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, both appearing on PC, PS3, and Xbox One.

Now, the two studios are working on bringing Borderlands: The Handsome Collection to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, which include remastered versions of Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel for the new devices.

The title is set to debut later this month and an updated PS Store listing shows that it needs around 26.7GB of free space on the PS4.

Unfortunately, the Xbox One listing has no new info concerning the estimated size of the game on the Microsoft console, so it's unclear if it will be larger or smaller than on the PS4, but you might want to have at least 30GB of free space, just to make sure you're covered.
