In honor of the upcoming Battlefield Hardline first-person shooter, Electronic Arts is organizing a real life competition in London next month, where fans can form crews and try to pull off the winning heist for a chance to earn 10,000 GBP (around 15,000 USD or 13,000 EUR).

Battlefield Hardline is the next big entry in the first-person shooter series published by Electronic Arts but, unlike past installments, it uses a new cops vs. criminals conflict to provide a fresh experience and new gameplay opportunities.

The game has received two different beta stages in recent times and is now currently getting ready for launch in the middle of March.

In honor of its debut, EA is organizing a special competition in the UK called Battlefield Hardline: Live, where crews of fans must work against each other in order to pull off the perfect heist. The winning team leader will get 10,000 GBP as a reward and he or she can choose to keep it all or share the money with their crew.

It's unclear what they'll have to do in order to win, but EA mentions on its website that the activity is based on Hardline modes like Heist, Blood Money, or Rescue and will take players throughout London.

Check out a rather awkward live action trailer for the whole competition below.
