We already know that the beta for Battlefield: Hardline will run from February 3 to February 8 before the March 17 launch, and now the developers at Visceral Games are delivering a new extended trailer for the first-person shooter which shows off the content that gamers will be able to explore.

The footage takes a look at both the single and the multiplayer sides of the title and explains that the focus of the mechanics is on both speed and variety.

The maps and the modes of Battlefield: Hardline introduce a wide range of locations and rules that will shape the battle between law enforcement and criminal cartels.

Visceral Games has listened to feedback from the community and has introduced more differences between the two factions, giving them new ways to move around the map and take out their enemies.

The studio and publisher Electronic Arts are saying that the new beta will allow them to gather mode data and to further improve the mechanics so that the multiplayer feels satisfying from day one.

They also explain that the ambition of the single player is to compete with the best police-focused dramas that TV networks are currently running.

Battlefield: Hardline can be played on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, and last-gen consoles.
