Video game developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts announce that they are introducing a new sale for Battlefield 4, giving players a chance to pick up both Battlepacks and Shortcut Kits for half their normal price.

The official announcement explains that gamers will be able to get access to boost for experience, knives, more weapons, and cool camo options for their characters.

The sale is live until April 6 on the Xbox Live service for Microsoft home consoles, until April 7 on the United States version of the PlayStation Network, and until April 15 in Europe.

Gamers who are enjoying Battlefield 4 on the PC have until April 9 to get their Battlepacks and their Shortcut Kits, which include the ability to get access to all weapons in a class.

At the moment, DICE is also working on a new major update for the shooter, which is expected to arrive in late April or early May.

Five new weapons are being added to Battlefield 4, and the development team and the community are also working together on a new map, which is set to be offered for free to all players and is designed to include all the elements that fans considered crucial for a good experience.
