Microsoft confirms that a suite of brand new features are now available in the Xbox application on the Windows 10 operating system for PC. From enhanced sharing functions to the ability to create an Xbox account and interact better with games, new things are now live in the latest OS preview version.

The Windows 10 operating system is hitting PCs as a final OS at the end of next month, but until then, a brand new preview build 10158 is live, alongside a fresh Xbox app version 6.66.27004.00000.

The new application brings quite a few new features, starting with better ways to interact with the games you install from the Windows store. These will appear in your My Games list as you install them. You can also add titles bought via Steam and other services to the list for easy access. What's more, you can launch games from the hubs.

Better sharing options allow users to broadcast their achievements, as well as Xbox One game clips and screenshots to the activity feed.

You can also create a new Xbox account from the app, as well as use the new Xbox Avatars application.

Check out the full details in the list below, shared by Microsoft's Larry Hryb on his blog.
