Ubisoft has just kicked off a teaser live stream on YouTube depicting a cave painting of a man with a bow and a spear. Reports claim that it might be a new Far Cry game that's set in prehistoric times and focuses on dinosaurs as well as hunting other beasts.

Ubisoft has made plenty of interesting announcements concerning upcoming titles in recent months, debuting new projects like For Honor, as well as Ghost Recon Wildlands and a few other novel properties that either breathe fresh life into old franchises or are completely new titles.

Now, after hearing a few brief mentions of a Far Cry Sigma game, Ubisoft has just kicked off a small YouTube live stream that's currently only depicting some teaser footage.

As you can see above and below, the image shows a cave painting with a man wielding a bow and a spear. Tribal chants and a fire are heard in the background but not much else.

According to other reports, the teaser might be for a new Far Cry that takes place in a prehistorical era. The focus could be on hunting as part of a tribe for beasts and even dinosaurs.

As of yet, Ubisoft isn't saying anything about the announcement, except for the tagline "Survival is timeless."

Expect the official announcement to appear probably in about 30 minutes at 7pm CET (10am PT).
