Intel has just rolled out a new HD Graphics driver developed for some of its N-Series processors, namely version 10.18.14.4234, which fixes corruptions seen in multi-display configurations or while resizing DirectX applications, and implements several other changes.

In order to be clear about compatibility, this update can be applied on systems powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 8.1 OSes (only the 64-bit variant), and which contain an Intel Pentium N3700 CPU or Celeron N3000, N3050, or N3150 model from its Braswell processor family.

Coming back to the changes this release brings, build 4234 resolves online video playback and rotation scenario corruptions, as well as the flickering spotted after installing Intel’s graphics driver or running Cyberlink PhotoDirector app.

Moreover, Intel’s team has managed to remove the improper color patches in recorded video playback, correct CPU behavior that switched to the lowest supported frequency upon S4 resume, and fix several other problems that are detailed in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to the package content, besides the 10.18.14.4234 Graphics version, this driver also installs the 6.16.00.3174 display audio files, Media SDK Runtime, Graphics Control Panel, as well as OpenCL driver.

As for installation, simply save and unzip the downloadable archive, run the available setup files, and follow all instructions displayed. Also, once completed, make sure to reboot your computer in order to allow all changes to take effect.
