Just now, AMD has rolled out its new and revolutionary Radeon Software Crimson Edition Graphics driver, namely version 15.11, which promises to provide better functionality, supercharged graphics performance, as well as a refined user experience.

Specifically speaking, this update adds features such as Radeon Settings, Liquid VR, Asynchronous Shaders, Shader Cache, and Directional Scaling, and includes support for “DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0” and custom resolutions.

In addition to that, the producer has managed to include various Freesync, Frame Pacing, Frame Rate Target Control, and power enhancements. Also, AMD updates Dynamic Contrast and Video Feature support (for Carrizo products), optimizes Flip Queue Size, and implements a new Install UI.

Regarding games, version 15.11 fixes several issues encountered while playing GTA V, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and a few others, as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, this release is suitable for certain GPU models that are running under one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 operating systems, either bit architecture.

That said, if you consider an upgrade, save the downloadable file appropriate for your system configuration, run it, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete installation. Also, once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.
