Intel has rolled out a new version of its Realtek ALC Audio driver compatible with some of its NUC devices, namely version 6.0.1.7581, which includes support for both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system.

In terms of valid NUCs, the present update is targeted at Intel’s D34010WYK, D54250WYK, DE3815TYKHE, NUC5i3MYHE, NUC5i5MYHE, and NUC5i7RYH NUC kits, as well as at the D34010WYB, D54250WYB, DE3815TYBE, NUC5i3MYBE, NUC5i5MYBE, and NUC5i7RYB NUC boards contained by these devices, respectively.

Moreover, the producer’s DN2820FYKH, NUC5CPYH, NUC5i3RYH, NUC5i3RYK, NUC5i5RYH, NUC5i5RYK, and NUC5PPYH next unit computing kits are also compatible with the present release.

When it comes to installation, besides the Windows 10 OS, build 7581 can also be applied on all of the aforementioned NUCs that are powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 operating systems, either bit architecture.

Therefore, if you intend to upgrade to this version, simply save and unzip the downloadable archive, run the available setup file, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful installation.

Last but not least, once finished, don’t forget to perform a system reboot in order to allow all changes to take effect properly. You can carry out this task either manually, or by giving the wizard permission to do that for your.
