Intel has just outed a new display driver developed especially for its 2nd Generation Core processors with HD Graphics 2000 and 3000, namely version 9.17.10.4101, which is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.

To be more specific, as the producer highlights, its present update will install Intel HD Graphics driver on the 2nd-gen Core i3, i5, i5 vPro, i7, and i7 vPro CPUs, as well as on Pentium 900, B900, G600, and G800 series processors.

In addition to that, system configurations that are running a suitable OS and include a Celeron 700, 800, B700, B800, G400, or G500 central processing unit can also be upgraded with Intel’s new HD Graphics package.

When it comes to applying this version, first make sure your computer supports this release, and if it does, save and unzip the appropriate package for your OS’s bit architecture.

Afterwards, close all programs and processes that might interfere with the installation, run the available setup from within the newly-created folder, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful update.

An important aspect that you should take into account is that rebooting your system after it has been upgraded is highly recommended. In the event where the installer doesn’t requests this task, it would be a good idea to perform it manually.

That being said, download Intel HD Graphics Driver 9.17.10.4101, apply it on your computer, and constantly check our website in order to be up to speed with the latest releases.
