Intel has just rolled out its 20.0 Ethernet Connections CD version, which modifies the PROSet prefix for Windows Device Manager ANS teams from “TEAM : ” to “TEAM: ” and asks users to update their scripts correspondingly.

When it comes to the downloadable archive, this file includes all Ethernet network drivers and software compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Server 2008, and Server 2012 operating systems, as well as with the currently supported Linux and FreeBSD platforms.

As for the suitable devices, this CD can work with certain Intel 10 Gigabit, Gigabit, Ethernet, PRO/100, PRO/100+, and PRO/1000 adapters, PRO/100 and PRO/1000 network connections, as well as with some Gigabit Ethernet controllers and connections (detailed on the description page).

However, bear in mind that not all adapters, controllers, and connections are supported under every version of the compatible operating systems, as they are not valid for certain OSes.

In addition to that, since the separate packages for each platform aren’t available yet, please take into account that this archive is targeted at users who need all drivers for all operating systems in a single file.

Considering this aspect, if you desire to save it on your computer, it would be a good idea to use a download manager due to the large file size (over 90 MB).

That being said, download Intel Ethernet Connections CD 20.0, apply it on your system, make sure to perform a restart to allow all changes to take effect, and constantly check our website for more news on this fresh version.
