After having rolled out Ethernet Connections CD 20.0 just yesterday, Intel has now announced the availability of same version of its Network Adapter drivers, which consist of separate files compatible with one OS at a time.

Specifically speaking, Intel’s team has provided its users with executables suitable for each bit architecture of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems, as well as with the 64-bit variants of Server 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2 platforms.

When it comes to the changes, just like yesterday’s update, this release modifies PROSet prefix for Windows Device Manager (WDM) advanced networking services (ANS) teams from “TEAM : ” to “TEAM: ” and asks users to update their scripts correspondingly.

As for the supported components, since each OS is compatible with certain network adapters, connections, and controllers, we recommend checking the description page that specifically highlights your desired operating system.

With this in mind, if you intend to upgrade to this version, first of all save the appropriate package for our OS, make sure that the adapter is described as a valid component, and run the downloaded executable.

Now, simply follow all instructions displayed on-screen, and make sure to allow the wizard to perform a system reboot upon completion. However, if this task isn’t requested, it would be a good idea to perform it manually to ensure that all changes take effect.

That being said, download Intel Network Adapter Driver 20.0 for your specific OS, apply it on your computer, and constantly check our website to be aware when a newer version is available.
