14 DAY TRIAL // A few moments ago, AsusWrt-Merlin has rolled out a new firmware package including several changes and new features, namely version 3.0.0.4.378.51 beta 1, which is compatible with certain ASUS routers.
An immediate change that stands out is that the developer has decided to drop support for RT-N16 device models due to the increasing number of router platforms. However, they are open to external contributions if anyone wants to take care of this device.

When it comes to fixes, the developer succeeded in resolving the CVE-2015-0240 security vulnerability in Samba 3.5.8, some connection issues with Russian ISPs relying on DHCP+VPN, as well as the improper forwarding of HTTP and HTTPS ports.
