After releasing GeForce Graphics 309.08, 341.44, and 345.20 drivers, as well as Quadro Graphics 309.08 and 341.44 versions, NVIDIA has just rolled out a new Tesla package, namely build 341.44, which is part of its R340 branch.

The present update is compatible only with desktop configurations that are running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems, or one of the Server 2008 64-bit or 2012 R2 platforms.

When it comes to supported video cards, this version can be applied on a compatible-OS computer that includes certain K-, C-, M-, and X-series graphics processing units (click on the “Release Notes” button below to find out which).

As for the changes, NVIDIA only highlights that its new release maintains CUDA 6.5 toolkit support, and nothing else.

Therefore, if you intend to upgrade to this version, simply ensure your configuration is supported, save and run the downloadable executable, wait for all required files to be extracted, and follow the instructions displayed on-screen for a successful installation.

In addition to that, once completed, make sure you give the wizard permission to perform a system reboot in order to allow the new driver to take effect. If it isn’t requested, it would be a good idea to perform the restart manually.

That being told, download NVIDIA Tesla Graphics Driver 341.44, apply it on your system, and constantly check our website to be aware when a newer version is available.
