NVIDIA has just made available 3 new GeForce Graphics driver updates, namely versions 309.08, 341.44, and 345.20, which include security improvements for nvlddmkm.sys and nv4_mini.sys components, and add several other changes.

All newly-released versions benefit from downloadable files suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations running Windows Vista, 7, 8, or 8.1 platforms (either bit variant). However, bear in mind that notebook systems aren’t compatible with Vista OSes.

GeForce Graphics 309.08

Compared to the rest of the releases, this specific version also adds security updates for NVIDIA Display Driver service (nvvsvc.exe), includes support for NVIDIA TXAA on GeForce GTX 600-series Kepler-based GPUs, and improves performance of several PC games.

The GTX 680 gameplay experience with titles such as Batman: Arkham City, Dragon Age II, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, and Total War: Shogun 2 has been enhanced up to 18%, 15%, 10%, and 60%, respectively.

As for the fixes, this update resolves the 3D Surround issue spotted on GeForce 500 series SLI configurations, as well as the SLI problems with GeForce GTX 285M graphics cards.

GeForce Graphics 345.20

This update provides support for DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution) and Maxwell’s new MFAA mode, and ensures the best gaming experience for Far Cry 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Crew, and World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor titles.

In addition to that, it allows users to use up to 5 displays, adds 3D compatibility mode with separate ratings information, enables Miracast on Windows 8.1 and later PCs, and includes support for cloned G-SYNC displays (G-SYNC/non-G-SYNC displays as well).

GeForce Graphics 341.44

NVIDIA’s 341.44 release is the Game Ready driver for Metro: Redux and Final Fantasy XIV, adds GameStream technology support for SHIELD tablets and SHIELD portable consoles, and applies important DirectX optimizations that shrink loading times and increase performance.

Moreover, this update allows compatible card owners to make use of GeForce ShadowPlay and ShadowPlay Twitch Streaming technologies, and adds support for 4kx2k @ 60 Hz displays (only on bridgeless SLI cards).
