According to the "Apple Watch Insider’s Report #23" report published by Wristly's co-founder Bernard Desarnauts, the majority of Apple Watch users say that, since they bought the device, their overall health and fitness has improved.

More exactly, 59% of respondents said that they noticed "some" positives changes while 24% reported "a lot" of positives changes in their fitness and health state. More importantly, only 17% of all respondents to this question declared that they have not noticed any changes since they bought their Apple Watch.

Moreover, Wristly has also made it a mission to separate the users that bought the Apple Watch with fitness being the main reason, and those that bought it for any other purpose.

The surprising fact is that, even though out of the first category of users 31% said that they noticed a lot of changes, 58% told Wristly that they experienced some changes in their overall health and fitness condition.

Furthermore, an outstanding 72% of users in the second category (those that got the Apple Watch for other reasons than fitness), answered that they perceived some or a lot of changes in their health condition.

Apple Watch owners stand up more and are exercising more often

A possible reason for the increases in fitness for Apple Watch owners might be the Stand-up reminder, which according to Wristly's research, makes 74% of all Watch users to stand up, while only 9% of them have wished to turn it off completely.

Another mention-worthy fact discovered by Wristly during their analysis is that 39% of all Apple Watch users have stated that after they bought their Watch are exercising more often, 7% of them are exercising for longer periods of time, while 18% have said that they have longer exercise sessions more often.

On the whole, if you want to be more active and be in a better physical condition, buying your own Apple Watch might be a good idea. If you also have an iPhone.
