One of the most popular Android smartphones launched by Xiaomi in the last couple of months, the Mi 4i, is already available for purchase in several countries. Moreover, the Chinese company announced a special edition version of the Mi 4i, which will soon be available in India.

However, these won't be the only mid-range Android smartphones Xiaomi will launch this year. Another new device has just been spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, listed as Xiaomi Mi 4c.

The new smartphone is likely to make it to the market in just a couple of weeks, but for now let's see what the Mi 4c brings in terms of specs.

First of all, just like the Xiaomi Mi 4i, the unannounced Mi 4c sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. There's no mention of Corning Gorilla Glass coating, so we must assume it doesn't feature one.

Hexa-core processor and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system

On the inside, Xiaomi Mi 4c packs a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM. The Mi 4i, on the other hand, is equipped with a Snapdragon 615 processor, complemented by 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with 16GB of storage inside, which is non-expandable. According to the listing at TENAA, the Mi 4c runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, along with MIUI 7 on top.

The Mi 4c has been confirmed to pack a 13-megapixel photo snapper with dual-LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The smartphone will be powered by a 3,100 mAh battery and offers 4G LTE connectivity. Unfortunately, there's no mention of dual-SIM support, so it's unclear whether or not it will be launched in India.
