Microsoft is ready to try and make the Xbox One home console even more attractive to customers during the coming holiday season and it seems that the company is planning a major push for the approaching Black Friday event, which this year will take place on November 27.

According to an early leak from retailer Dell, interested gamers will be able to get access to a special bundle for the device that includes the core system, two controllers for it, a copy of Fallout 4 and a copy of Gears of War: Ultimate.

This wealth of content will be offered for just 299 dollars, which is the equivalent of 249 Euro, although the offer will probably only be offered in North America.

There's a lot of value here for gamers who have not yet made the move to the new generation of home consoles.

Dell is not yet ready to say exactly when the Xbox One Black Friday bundle will be offered and whether limited quantities will be introduced in stores.

Fallout 4 is one of the most eagerly awaited video game of the fall, designed by Bethesda using an open world system and taking gamers to an area around Boston where they will have to use both new and old mechanics to survive and thrive.

The game will come complete with a free copy of Fallout 3 and there are also plans to deliver mods for the Microsoft platform, although the exact mechanism has not yet been announced.

Gears of War: Ultimate allows fans of the classic shooter franchise to play a remastered version of the first game on the Xbox One.

Gamers who get it will also be able to experience the other titles set in the same universe once the home console from Microsoft gets access to the backwards compatibility feature.

The Xbox One is also getting more Windows 10 integration

The new price drop will probably be temporary and Microsoft is not yet saying whether similar Black Friday deals will be offered through any other stores, although it is a good bet that they will be.

The company is also getting ready to launch the long-awaited new user experience for the Xbox One, which is designed to introduce a range of new sharing and social features and to integrate the device with the wider Windows 10 ecosystem.

At the moment the concepts that power it are in testing with members of the Preview Program and an official date for release has not been mentioned by Microsoft.

Before the end of November, the Xbox One is also supposed to received full backwards compatibility functionality.

The device is now being outsold by the PlayStation 4 both on the worldwide level and in the United States.

Sony has recently implemented a 50 dollar or Euro drop in the price of its platform in order to make it an attractive proposition for the coming months and a number of Black Friday bundles linked to it will likely be revealed in the coming weeks.
