WishAppList is a fan site dedicated to apps

Microsoft does allow users to vote for new features in Windows 10 Mobile, but as far as apps are concerned, the only option for fans of the platform is to contact the developers of the tools they want on their devices and hope they’ll listen to what they say.

But starting today, there’s a fan site dedicated specifically to voting apps that should be launched or updated on Windows 10 Mobile, so this should become the one place to go when requesting apps on the platform.

While this service is not affiliated with Microsoft in any way, it’s likely to become the number one destination where developers can look and find out whether bringing their apps on Windows 10 Mobile could make sense or not, but also interact with users more effectively.

WishAppList, which is still in beta for the time being, provides users with an impressive amount of information, so you can download apps from alternative stores, look for a replacement in the Windows store, vote for an app to arrive on Windows 10 Mobile, contact the developer, or post a comment and interact with the rest of the community.

Snapchat is the number one request

Unsurprisingly, Snapchat is currently the most requested application, but it’s still hard to believe that an official client would ever arrive on Windows 10 Mobile. Snapchat’s CEO doesn’t seem to be willing to approve such a project while at the same time forbidding third-party apps from reaching the store and connecting to their servers.

YouTube and other Google apps are also among the popular requests, but once again, there are slight chances to see these landing in the store. Google has never been a Windows Phone supporter, so it’s hard to believe that the company would change its mind with Windows 10 Mobile.

But obviously, it’s better to at least vote for these requests than do nothing, so head over to WishAppList and either cast your votes for the listed apps or submit a new one.
