Some gamers don't want the game to arrive on PC

Quantum Break from Remedy Entertainment and Microsoft was announced yesterday for the PC, but not all players are happy with the news.

It's hard to believe that someone could be upset with Microsoft for bringing the previously Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break to the PC, but it turns out that there are quite a few console players out there who resent the decision.

There is a new trend in the gaming community, and that is to complain about previous console exclusives that are getting PC versions. For some strange reason, some console users think that they are getting cheated. They were promised console exclusives, and now those games are getting on the PC.

Let’s say that portion is true. Even if a game is promised as an exclusive, the publisher or the company usually means that you won't find it on other consoles, not that it won’t be ported for the PC users.

I canceled my Quantum Break pre-order

A user wrote this on Twitter in a discussion with Xbox boss, Phil Spencer. It turns out that he's not a regular user. He's called The CrapGamer (we didn't choose the name), and he has a Youtube channel focused on console gaming.

In any case, the discussion between him and Phil Spencer is priceless mostly because it shows that some console gamers don't really understand how the market works.

On the other hand, these are probably the same people who were happy a few years ago, when publishers made games only for consoles and never bothered to port them to the PC.

Now the wheel is turning, and soon enough, more and more PC exclusives will launch, and console users will be in the same position as the PC gamers. It's not a pretty picture, but it's a good indication of hypocrisy.
