Apple fanboys, beware, this video could be really painful

Every once in a while, we get to see various smartphones thrown in all kinds of torture tests, just for the sake of finding out how they react in the most extreme conditions (although it’s kind of obvious that, if you throw a phone from Mount Everest, it can’t work anymore).

But this time, YouTuber TechRax has decided to go one step further and find something that could really put an iPhone 6s to test. The very hot, boiling, and melting kind of test.

So what he did was to take a brand new iPhone 6s and throw it in a pan full of boiling blue wax from a bunch of crayons. To be honest, the iPhone looks quite sexy in that blue color, but not necessarily when covered in hot lava.

While we won’t provide you with any kind of spoiler because this video is really worth watching, it’s really important to warn Apple fanboys that such a torture test could be really painful. Especially if you’re saving to buy your own iPhone 6s, that is.

“The strongest iPhone ever”

And certainly, nobody should try this at home (you’ll understand why we’re saying this while you’re watching the video). As TechRax puts it, “please, don't EVER try something like this. If you thought the Coca-Cola accident was crazy, crayons took it to another level.”

The funny thing is that Apple claims that the 6s is the strongest iPhone it has ever made thanks to new materials that can withstand very severe conditions.

“The iPhone 6s enclosure is made from the same grade of aluminum used in the aerospace industry. It’s created from a unique composition of elements that make it the strongest alloy we’ve ever used in an iPhone,” the company says.

Well, we’ll talk again after you watch this video, so hit the play button below and get ready for some serious blue lava-melting action.
