According to Mr. Ødegaard, Vivaldi snapshot 1.0.300.5 is here to introduce support for HTML5 MP4 video stream, including those compressed with the H.264/MPEG-4AVC & AAC codecs, as well as support for MP3 audio streams.
Thanks to these two new features, the compatibility with most of the multimedia websites has been greatly improved, because Vivaldi now supports an even wider range of audio and video formats than ever before. In addition, the developers managed to plug 15 more of those annoying bugs that have been reported by users since the previous snapshot build.
