Video game developer Milestone is announcing that it is working on a new Valentino Rossi The Game experience, which is designed to allow fans of the motorsport champion to enjoy some of the greatest moments of his career while also offering full access to the 2016 season of MotoGP.

The studio says that it wants to launch the title on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft, and the PlayStation 4 during June of next year.

Valentino Rossi, a nine-time world champion and one of the most accomplished riders in the history of the sport, will be part of the development process for the new simulation, with gamers able to experience the most important races of his career.

Players will also be able to participate in rally events, explore his ranch and engage in Flat Track races, all of them real-world passions of the sportsman.

Valentino Rossi The Game will explore the life of the champion both on and off the track and will include more detail than any other previous installment in the franchise.

Gamers who are interested in the championship will get a full season mode that will allow them to take control of any team and try to lead it to as many victories as possible in Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP.

Valentino Rossi states, "We chose to include both the most important elements of my MotoGP career and all the extra circuit stuff that are so important to me, like Ranch, Rally and more. It will be fun to approach the game not only as a gamer but also as a Game Tester. I'll work with the development team to make sure all fans will get the best experience they ever had."

MotoGP is adding a lot of personality

The series has been appreciated by fans of the sport, but it will surely draw a bigger fan base by associating itself with Valentino Rossi, who is well known for both his impressive performances and his colorful personality.

Moto racing can be a dry experience in virtual form, and Milestone will have to use every detail linked to the champion they can to expand the kinds of experiences that the series can offer.

It will be interesting to see whether the video game will also explore the recent rivalry with Marc Marquez and how much it will allow gamers to interact with other riders off the track.

Valentino Rossi The Game will also benefit from the involvement of Dorna Sports, the company that has the commercial rights to MotoGP and will work to make sure that the moto racing game stays as close as possible to the real world.

Milestone will offer more information about the core features of the title in the coming months, including more details on how the cover star is involved in the process.

It's likely that the custom team options present in MotoGP 15 will be expanded upon and that gamers will have more choices when it comes to the characters that they play and the way they set up their bikes.
