The development team at Naughty Dog and publisher Sony are finally offering the extended version of the E3 2015 demo for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End on YouTube, allowing all those interested in the title to dissect it and explore the various new mechanics that the title will offer.

The footage shows a big chase sequence as Nathan Drake and Sully try to get away from Shoreline mercenaries while they attempt to get on into to a meeting with the brother of the main character.

Initially, the sequence was set to be played live during the E3 2015 Sony press conference but a technical glitch meant that it was then only shown behind closed doors before being streamed on Twitch earlier in the day.

The sequences was chosen in order to show the way Naughty Dog is expanding the core mechanics of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End by introducing a complex driving system that allows gamers to perform some impressive moves while getting away from enemies.

The development team also says that they will see improvements in terms of exploration and combat and that the Artificial Intelligence has been re-designed to offer a greater challenge.

The beta period for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be open to those who are willing to get the Nathan Drake Collection.

Naughty Dog wants to finish the series on a high

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will take place a few years after the events of the previous title in the series, with Nathan Drake currently retired and living a peaceful life with Elena, his great life.

His rest is perturbed by the reappearance of older brother Sam, who was presumed to be dead, who asks for help to uncover a legendary treasure and to evade a big organization that wants to also get to the loot before him.

Naughty Dog has said that it wants to up the emotional stakes in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and that Nathan Drake will have to sacrifice himself in order to make sure that the ones he loves are protected.

Both brother Sam and Sully will be present during most game sections to interact with the protagonist and support him during combat sequences.

The title will be launched only on the PlayStation 4 and will arrive at some point in the first quarter of 2016.
