In an email received by Softpedia a few minutes ago, Mr. Conrad notes that the Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (Long-Term Support) builds are available for download as new ISO images for Desktop, Server, Cloud, and Core products, supporting 32-bit and 64-bit computers.

"We have expanded our hardware enablement offering since 12.04, and with 14.04.3, this point release contains an updated kernel and X stack for new installations to support new hardware across all our supported architectures, not just x86," says Adam Conrad.
Prominent features of Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS include better support for new hardware components by updating the graphics stack and Linux kernel (version 3.19.0) packages, as well as updates to most of the core components and applications, fixes for high-impact bugs, and security patches, all in order to keep Ubuntu 14.04 LTS stable and reliable.

While the new ISO images are provided for those who want to deploy Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) on new computers, existing Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS users can update to the 14.04.3 LTS build right now via the build-in package management system, so make sure that your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS installation is up to date.
