14 DAY TRIAL // Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen, both stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, met last year, on the set of “I Saw the Light,” where they played husband and wife. By May 2015, reports were making the round that they had started “hooking up” and that things were promising, assuming they somehow managed to sync their busy schedules.
Twitter is now buzzing with even more speculation on the romance, as photos have emerged of Tom and Elizabeth looking very lovey-dovey on the streets of London.
Tom and Elizabeth are definitely a couple
Unfortunately, there’s no way to verify the legitimacy of the photos, 2 of which you can also see below. First off, the woman’s face is not even shown, which means that she could be any other blonde, medium-height woman in the world, not just Elizabeth Olsen.
As for the man in the second photo, also shown from the back, he could be Tom, but he could just as well be another man in a similar jacket.
Should we take the pics for what they claim to be, they certainly seem to confirm that there’s a new lady in Tom’s life, which should be heartbreaking news for his millions of female fans. It would also confirm the older rumor, while showing that, even when you’re A-list, you can still have privacy if you want it, and manage to have a person life without it making it into the press.
Last but not least, if they’re a couple and have been dating since earlier this year, they will probably make their red carpet / official outing when they begin promotion for “I Saw the Light,” which comes out in November, or even earlier than that, when Tom goes on to the road for “Crimson Peak,” out in October.
Is Hiddleston a homewrecker?
Even before the new round of reports in May, there was some buzz online about Elizabeth and Tom getting involved romantically while on the set of the film.
The problem at the time was that Elizabeth was in a relationship, which she ended in January 2015. If it’s true that they “hooked up,” in late 2014, this makes Hiddleston a “homewrecker” and Olsen a cheater.
Celebrity pundits believe that this is why they’re putting so much effort into keeping the relationship low-profile right now, because they don’t want the negative attention that would come with a cheating scandal.
