Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is one of the most anticipated games still left to be released in 2015, and the developers have just given the go-ahead for the Open Beta.

The Rainbow Six games are never disappointed, but Ubisoft raised the bar pretty high when they presented Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege at the last E3 conference. The interest in the game went through the roof, and it managed to become a highly anticipated title, even if in theory it’s actually a product for a small niche of people.

The new mode that completes the name of this game, Siege, promises to bring a new type of gameplay that should redefine the cooperative and competitive experience. This pits two teams of six players, the police and the enemies, against each other, in a specific situation. One team plans and storms a secure location, which has been enforced by the people holding hostages. There are numerous points of entry and a huge number of scenarios.

Beta is now live

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is now live, and it will take place over the next few days. It was supposed to start yesterday, but it was delayed due to problems with the matchmaking.

“We are happy to confirm we will be launching the Rainbow Six Siege open beta at 12pm EST. We want to thank everyone who is participating in this beta. Your feedback helps us improve. For everyone who hasn’t been able to play as yet, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding,” wrote the developers on Steam.

The Beta will end on November 30, and the official launch for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is set for December 1. There is no indication that Ubisoft has any intention of delaying the game to implement the results of the Beta testing.
